industry TikTok's OnlyFans ban: What models need to do now!

This week brought a big shock for many amateur models when TikTok came out and cancelled OnlyFans for good. Not only can you not link to your OF profile anymore, the TikTok app even shows a scary warning telling your fans that it is unsafe to open your profile!

Why did TikTok ban OnlyFans?

While there is no official statement it was most likely due to the influx of OnlyFans creators promoting on TikTok. Some users are really unhappy about this and decided to mass report creators.

This may have forced TikTok's hand to decide and take action to make it harder for OnlyFans creators to use their platform for the sake of promoting. Now creators can not link their OnlyFans profile anymore and even links redirected to service like allmylinks and linktree get blocked!

TikTok has alway said they like to foster unproblematic safe content and will censor things otherwise. 

What you can do to fix this:

Fortunately there is however one way to bypass this currently and get your OnlyFans link to show up. You just have to change the URL to of.com instead of onlyfans.com. This nifty workaround tricks the TikTok filter for now, but TikTok may extend the ban to of.com in the future!

If your username on OnlyFans would be xswipe you may have used onlyfans.com/xswipe as a link to your profile, now you simply use of.com/xswipe!
