Nothing is worse than spending hours to take new content and then find it leaked for free just moments later. But what options do models have to take action?
If you're doing OnlyFans or a similar platform for a bit of time, and especially if you're also promotion on social media like reddit and twitter, you will have noticed that your content is quickly leaked on shady websites. This is particularly annoying if paid content, maybe even full length videos, get leaked for free!
But besides being annoying it can also be potentially really costly for you, especially when it gets easier for your fans to find leaked content than pay for the real deal!
The sad reality is that if you keep putting out content then leaks are somewhat unavoidable as there are automated websites scraping your content from places like reddit and copying it onto their portal. But not every leak is the same and it is important to understand what to look out for and what just wastes your time.
In general services that create automated copies of your public posts are annoying but not that big of an issue as its essentially just a duplicate of what you released on twitter, reddit and co. While you can try to get these leaks down it is often very tedious and pointless as there are many of these automated scrapers and they just keep adding every new post of yours.
A bigger issue are leaks of your paid and premium content, which often happen not automated but by a leaker who disguises themselves as a fan and subscribes to your OnlyFans. These leaks can be much more devastating as getting all your paid content for free obviously can cost you subscribers and future renewals!
An effective strategy against leaks and leakers should incorporate multiple efforts and be very deliberate to get the most effect.
Firstly you should select carefully which leaks to bother about, generally everything created automatically such as copies of your reddit profile are hard to get taken down and will pop up again anyway. As long as they are not too prominent when people search for your stage name on Google it is often not worth it to bother. Instead focus on everything that is leaking actual paid content and/or is too easily discoverable by searching your name, if a leak is only on some obscure Russian deepweb page that no one knows then what is the point to fight it?
Secondly you should make leaks less attractive and give fans more reasons to subscribe to your paid profile. The reality is you will never beat leakers and keep all content out of the free internet, the best you can achieve is to limit leaks as much as possible. If you run your profile in a way where fans get bonus content, a personal touch or make it more about the interaction with you then that is something that simply can not be leaked and will entice people to subscribe, even if they can get old and stale leaks for free!
