The biggest platform for paid subscriptions and a favourite among adult creators, OnlyFans.com, is completely rebranding! We look at what creators need to know now.
As curious internet users can discover on OnlyFans brand page the social network seems to be working passionately on a completely new brand identity and platform look. While the blue color that is well known from the current design seems to stay a new logo and icon are coming up and may be released soon.
While we don't have many details yet it would be unusual for platforms to simply switch an icon and logo without a bigger overhaul of their website. Looking to other social networks big changes in the brand identity often go together with significant changes in the UI, being the look and feel of the platform.
Users have often complained about bugs and less than desirable experiences with the OnlyFans website. The expectation of increased service stability and more features may finally be fulfilled with the upcoming rebranding.
Given the recent spotlight on OnlyFans, and the adult industry in general, from payment processors and regulators many worry big changes to the platform operations may be on the horizon. Will OnlyFans continue to shift mainstream and even outright ban adult models?
As of now it is simply to early to know what, if anything, will change for creators. The rebranding may bring a greatly improved experience for models and users alike or focus on adapting to the changed operating environment for creator networks. Look out for official announcements from OnlyFans that should bring clarity on the impact for adult models.
